Ophiopogonophiopogon

Evergreen tuberous rooted perennial with black leaves what more can you say.

Height: 12"

Hardiness: Fully hardy

Propagation: Grow from seed sown as soon as ripe in a cold frame or divide in spring

Notes: When is a grass not a grass? When it's an ophipogon. The only really black plant I can think of. Looks its best when grown as clumps on gravel, also makes interesting ground cover, goes green if grown in insufficient light.
