Ipomoea

Intensely coloured climbers not hardy but fast growing enough to be treated as annuals.

Height: Will climb to 20 ft or more

Hardiness: Frost tender

Propagation: Easy to grow from seeds in a propagator, soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing maintain at 65F. Sow seeds singly as they do not respond well to root disturbance.
Seeds are highly toxic.

Notes: Treated as and annual and started as early as possible in a propagator I. indica is one of my favourite plants, seems to grow well in full sun or shade and gives a continuous succession of flowers until late October.
