Euphorbia Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).

A vast genus ranging from cacti like E. caneriensis to shrub like E. pulcherrima. My favourites ( all of which are fully hardy) are:
E. characias, E. amygdaloides, E. dulcis & E. lathyris.

Height: All sizes

Hardiness: From frost tender to fully hardy.

Propagation: Most of the fully hardy varieties are easily grow from seed,
E. lathyris self seeds almost to the point of being a weed.

Notes: A plant for every position from the back of an herbaceous border to dwarf varieties in rock gardens. Colour all year round.
A word of warning the sap which is milky coloured can cause skin irritation particularly in sunlight.
