Eucomis comosa

Bulbous perennial with curving lance shaped leaves, flower bearing spikes with white flowers that have purple markings.

Height: Up to 1 metre

Hardiness: Fully hardy in well drained soil

Propagation: Sow seeds in autumn or remove offsets in spring.

Notes: A plant that I think looks best as a specimen, particularly in a gravel bed, seems to get lost amongst other foliage.
