americana Succulent rosette of lance shaped, spiny
tipped leaves. Various forms and variegation patterns. Height: Slow growing but can reach 1metre. Hardiness: Reasonably hardy in a sheltered
position. Can withstand short periods of frost, safest in a frost free greenhouse over
winter. Propagation: From seeds sown in spring if
you have the patience. Pot on plantlets which grow from base of parent plants in a sharp
compost for a quicker result. Notes: Agaves and children do not mix the
